High temperature incineration
We are currently the only UK High Temperature Incineration plant with the facility to process industrial waste packaged in drums/IBC’s and on pallets, reducing the cost and logistics of waste repackaging for our customers. We are currently have a multimillion pound investment to replace our shredding system increasing reliability, flexibility and capacity. Our shredder and hoist give us the capability of disposing of practically every type of industrial waste packaging.

The administrative processes that support the physical procedure of waste disposal are second to none. We will provide a complete audit trail from the moment you first contact Pyros, to the issuing of the certificate to indicate that your waste has been processed. Documentation will cover the testing and analysis that we carry out at our own Laboratory, as well as the assurance of compliance with all government guidelines and legislation regarding the disposal of waste.
There are four main routes into our High Temperature Incineration kiln:
Liquid and gas injection
Pumpable liquids e.g. solvents / oils / aqueous wastes, in drums or in bulk. Industrial gases in lecture bottles to Iso-tanks, including refrigerants.
Shredder
Packaged material including pharmaceutical waste / paint sludges pesticides / aerosols / contaminated wood.
Hoist
Drummed solid contaminated materials e.g. absorbents / carbon and more reactive materials e.g. laboratory chemicals / clinical waste / lithium batteries / peroxides.
Bulk solids
Processed materials such as centrifuge or filter press cakes / tank bottoms. Acceptable in skips / tippers / tankers.
